Hi, I'm Davi-Ann James, the artist behind Sunfairy Studio.

I was born in Montego Bay Jamaica, where I was surrounded by sunshine, vibrant colors, and the beauty of nature from an early age. Ever since I was little, I have been drawn to color. I loved the way bright yellows, pinks, blues, and greens could instantly make me feel happy, and I spent much of my childhood creating, imagining, and finding inspiration in the colorful world around me.

Today, that love of color remains at the heart of everything I create. I am deeply inspired by sunshine, starlight, nature, fantasy, and the feeling of wonder that comes from seeing something beautiful for the first time. My artwork blends whimsical storytelling with dreamy, colorful worlds filled with magical creatures, cosmic skies, enchanting animals, and joyful characters.

Working primarily with gouache and acrylic paint, I create pieces that celebrate imagination, happiness, and the magic found in everyday moments. I love using bright, uplifting colors because I want my artwork to feel warm, welcoming, and full of life. Every brushstroke is chosen with the hope of creating something that brings a smile to someone's face.

My goal as an artist is simple: I want my art to bring people joy. Whether someone discovers one of my paintings online, hangs a print in their home, or receives a sticker in the mail, I hope they feel a little spark of happiness when they see it. I want my artwork to feel like sunshine on a difficult day a reminder to dream, to wonder, and to find beauty in the world around us.
